Eid-Al-Fitr is the most important festival celebrated by the Muslim community. The festival is celebrated at the end of ninth month of the Islamic calendar i.e. during the end of holy month of Ramadan. The word ‘EID is derived from the word ‘wd’ means festival and that comes from ‘uzhaiyya’ which translates to ‘sacrifice’.
