  • Group Size During Trek

Trekking in Nepal is regarded as rewarding experience for the nature lovers. In our featured website products, we generally run the trip with the minimum of 2 persons in a group. The given program is just a suggested itinerary which can be customized as per the client’s preference.  However, if you would like to travel independently, or with your friends, families for any number of people we would be happy to arrange a personalized trip only for you in your suitable period of time.

We also arrange TREKS FOR SINGLE WOMAN. If none of our fixed group departure dates work for you and you do not have anyone to accompany you, you can still be able to make your preferred trip with us. There is absolutely nothing to worry about making it solo trip. We assign local guide, porters etc who you can trust your life with.

Normally for a group, we provide 1 main guide, 1 assistance guide along with 1 porter for every 2 trekkers. Moreover, for every additional 2 trekkers, 1 more assistance and a porter will be provided.

  • Trek Guides and staff.

For trekking, we provide local experienced trek guide who can communicate well with the guests and explain well about the trails, customs and traditions of the local community living in the area. The role of the trek leader is to ensure that the trip runs smoothly. He will share their local knowledge, co-ordinate the day to day running of the tour. If you have any problems on the tour, please let your Trek Leader know so that steps can be taken to put it right.

We are a well stabilized adventure company and we employed professional trek leader (who are based on English speaking and few are multi-lingual's) and required crew member (they have basic knowledge of communication). We also provide the training to our staff increasing their work efficiency. And our guides are intimately familiar with all local castes and customs along the trails and will share with you many cultural insights that are not covered in any guide book. You will have good chance to learn Nepali phrases, cultural things and more on your Trekking. Nepal Vision trained its guide/trekking staff on following course.

  • Trekking Guide Training & licensed- Government of Nepal, Ministry of Tourism & Civil Aviation department of Hotel Management & Tourism Training Centre
  • Eco Trekking Workshop & Adventure Meet TAAN (Trekking Agents Association of Nepal)
  • Intensive Wilderness First Aid KEEP (Kathmandu Environmental Educational Project)
  • English Language KEEP
  • Conservation & Biodiversity TAAN
  • Rock & Ice Climbing & Mountaineering (Climbing leaders) Nepal Mountaineering Association
  • Trip safety

Once, you confirm your trip, it is our responsibility to make your trip wonderful without creating any difficulties. Hence, we have prepared our itinerary in such a way that it will properly acclimatize you. Also, we request you in advance to have regular exercises and make habits to walk in a daily basis. Similarly, during trek, you will be fully guided by our professional trekking guides and supporting team. They are properly trained in regards to safety and first aid. Even, we have every set up in case of emergency such as high altitude medicine and Gammow Bag (High altitude Chamber bag). Please note High altitude Chamber Bag is used to provide heat in your body and it is available on certain cost. Moreover, to let you familiar with altitude, you are suggested to walk slow and steady and ensure for proper acclimatization.

  • Climate and weather condition during trek

Weather in the mountains is extremely unpredictable. The nights are generally cooler and the days are warm. Winter (January and February) will be bit colder but the days can be quite beautiful and warm if the sun is out. There will be bit of snow during the month of January, February and December. It is also important to make sure that you can stay warm and dry in just about any conditions. Expect the unexpected!

  • Permits and Fees

In Nepal, you most require permits and fees to enter a certain areas such as World heritage sites, National Park, restricted areas along climbing as well. All the trip prices are including the cost of relevant permits and entrance fees. In case of any such conditions we will inform you if required any additional permit fees before you make a booking with us.

  • Travel Insurance

While travelling to Nepal, you are requested to have a travel insurance that should cover any comprehensive expenses possible to acquire due to medical issues or accidents. Especially, your travel insurance must protect air ambulance, treatment charges, rescue and evacuation, product cancellation and refundable charges, flight delay and cancellations. We suggest you to bring you travel insurance certificate or send us scan copy and required to issue from your home land and we do not arrange or sell insurance.

Travelling in the Himalayas is full of adventurous; hence it is wise to choose a proper insurance policy. While choosing your insurance policy, make sure that it will protect all such unforeseen expenses. Your insurer should be well familiar with our itinerary that you have booked and must have agreed to cover all activities being undertaken during trip. Meantime, it is not compulsory that our all the assigned trip are facilities with Heli-rescue. You will not require heli rescue insurance for Tibet Tour as it is not possible to provide such facility.

  • Altitude Mountain sickness

AMS is the abbreviation for Acute Mountain sickness also termed as the High Altitude Sickness. AMS is one of the challenges that the trekkers/ climbers might face during their climb in the mountains. As you reach higher in the altitude the oxygen level gradually decreases. If a person tries to climb too quickly then there is a higher chance of getting AMS. The major symptoms of AMS is headache, loss of appetite, nausea, vomiting, dizziness, tiredness, difficulty in sleeping. However, AMS can be avoided by using some precautionary measures such as drinking plenty of water, eating enough food and walking in the steady pace. Our experienced guides who have been working in the Himalayas will help and instruct you for further measures.

Classic Outdoor will provide a well-qualified and experienced guide who has a good knowledge about AMS as they can recognize the early symptoms and advise medications for instant relief. We have designed our trips in such a way that the clients get full acclimatization and proper rest. You will also be provided with a Gamow bag upon request at an additional charge which is considered a major gear to reduce the effect of AMS. In the worst case scenario, we shall arrange a rescue and evacuation using a helicopter whose cost should be covered by your travel insurance.

  • Acclimatization

We are experts at operating at high-altitude. Every trip we run has a realistic acclimatization programme. Our treks are designed to allow gradual height gain, spread over a number of days. There is no way of predicting who will suffer from altitude but, for the vast majority of people, a slow ascent to height will produce minimal effects. We can provide 'Gamow Bag' as a precautionary measure as per your request on hiring basis. Acclimatizing takes time and there are no safe shortcuts. All trips to altitudes in excess of 3,000 meters carry medicines essential to the treatment of altitude illness, and our leaders are trained to administer them and to know the symptoms.

  • Physical Fitness

We strongly recommend our clients for consulting the doctor before planning your holidays. You should obtain professional advice from a travel clinic or your local GP about which vaccinations to have before you arrive in Nepal. Your doctor will advise current inoculation requirements. If a doctor has recommended against travel or indicated travel may be inconvenient then inform us of the details. On all trekking and exploratory trips technical experience is not required, hiking/camping experience is an advantage, but by far the most important thing is a positive attitude and a generous amount of determination. We strictly maintain hygiene foods on the trek. We carry extensive medical kits and, if the need should ever arise, we are able to evacuate seriously ill group members by helicopter. We run regular first aid courses for our all trekking guides and Sherpa helpers.

Around Annapurna with best time-

Rating:

I did Around Annapurna trek with two of my friends. We had a good trip. We dealt with Classic Outdoors to arrange our trip which was recommended by one of my friend. As soon as we arrive in Kathmandu, we experience great hospitality and a very helpful staffs. We were glad that we chose the right agency to go with. We met kritee before the trek at our hotel. She was very informative and was cheerful as she explained about the trek and gave us some important guidelines. We were in Nepal for very short period and did our Everest Panorama Trek for 9 days. We left Kathmandu on the next day of our arrival and headed toward pokhara. Pokhara was very nice and pleasant. There were many hotels and restaurants. We met many other travelers while roaming around the streets of Pokhara. Sarah had a hard time trekking towards a place called Ulleri. Need to say it was the most difficult day of trekking. When we reached Poon Hill at around 5am one beautiful morning, we couldn’t have asked for a better view and saw the incredible mountain range. Words and pictures can’t describe how beautiful it really is. You really have to see it to believe it.

We highly recommend Classic Outdoors and the whole team. We met really fantastic guides on the trek. Bharat was great in every possible way. Many thanks and happy trekking Christina, Sarah & Hannah

Leisurely Awesome destination

Rating:

We were first timer trekkers in Nepal and we approached Ms. Sadhana for recommendations and advices. The arrangements and logistics were flawless in Kathmandu. We stayed at a hotel in Thamel namely Apsara Boutique Hotel. The whole ambience was awesome. Our guide and our porter were amazing. They paid close attention to your abilities and adjusted our trek as we went. They carried little snacks and fruits for us. We were pleased as they could answer all of our questions about the nature, environment and culture. The evening of every day is filled with the memories as we used to play game of cards, talking and laughing. On the trek it felt more like we were trekking with friends than with a random guide and porter. It was nice to spent time also with them to know better the Nepalese culture. Anapurna Sanctuary Trekking, was the best holiday we had as we didn't face any problem, so I totally recommend Classic Outdoors for all wanting to spend their holiday’s problem free.

Amazing Annapurna Circuit Trek with Classic Outdoors

Rating:

I and my two other friends Ted and Ryan recently completed a 21 day Annapurna circuit trek with Classic Outdoors and cannot recommend them highly enough! It was an absolutely incredible experience.

The team in the office were brilliant at putting together an itinerary that worked for our dates and answering the endless questions we had.

Our guide, Kesar was fantastic, he made sure that we had the trip of a lifetime. He was very knowledgeable about the areas and always happy to teach us about the local culture and languages. He was very professional and helpful, always encouraging when the up hills got steep and we were somehow losing hope. Having said that he was also very good and funny person to be along.

Holiday well spent with Classic Outdoors

Rating:

My husband and I recently visited Annapurna Circuit Trek. We had a great trip. We booked our trip online with Classic Outdoors. It was our first trip to Nepal and initially were very nervous. Sadhana helped a lot preparing our desired trek. During the trek our guide Bharat helped us a lot too. He treated us more like a friend than his guest. He had a very good knowledge about the trail.

Overall the trek was excellent. Kathmandu was quite dusty and had a lot of traffic but Pokhara was much cleaner. We had a spare day after finishing the trek at Pokhara which was a much needed one. It was indeed the relaxation period. One of the interesting thing about the trek was the small temple of Muktinath at a hillock. Bharat explained that it was one of the important pilgrimage site. We saw many people taking a dip into the icy cold water at small ponds outside the temple. The other interesting part was crossing the Thorang-La pass. Although I had difficulty walking, overall we enjoyed the trip to the fullest.

Once again, I would like to thank bharat and Sadhana for the wonderful trip.

Wonderful trip to Annapurna

Rating:

I am it has been my dream to hike in the Himalayas with my son. I found this company on an online search. From the beginning, we contacted Classic Outdoors. Sadhana was very meticulous about planning our trip. She took care of each and every detail and till the last. We were greeted with utmost respect and treated with kindness and with a very professional approach. The sightseeing tour of the monument sites was awesome our guide Som was great. He gave a great tour of the sights. Our trek to Annapurna Base Camp was successful thanks to guide Purushotam and porter. They really took care of both of us and cater all our needs during every step of the way. The trek was well planned and executed by the whole team. Upon arriving back to Kathmandu, we were given a wonderful farewell dinner at a beautiful environment at a cozy Hotel at Thamel named Apsara Boutique Hotel. The transportation was comfortable. Although, the roads were not very satisfactory. I mostly love Pokhara and the beautiful vibe out there. I would like to thank you again for a wonderful time! We had a beautiful memory. We recommend this company to anyone planning this trek in Nepal.
