The 15 days trek leads you through the beautiful and lively villages of Ghorepani and Tadapani. Day to Day Itinerary

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu (1,300m/4,264ft) 
Meals included: Dinner 

Our airport representative will welcome you at Tribhuvan International Airport, Kathmandu upon your arrival. He/she will escort you to the respective hotel in a private vehicle comfortably. Your prior trip meeting will be scheduled on the very day at the hotel before dinner. However, our airport representative will give you a brief idea about the second day’s schedule on your way to the hotel. During the meeting, we will introduce you to your leader/guide. Please do not hesitate to ask questions about your trek or anything that is related the trek. To make you feel comfortable, we schedule a welcome dinner for you in a popular restaurant in the city where you can enjoy authentic Nepali meal along with cultural programs including ethnic dance and songs. Tonight, you will spend your night at the hotel in Kathmandu. 

Day 02: Kathmandu Valley sightseeing and trek preparation (1,300m/4,264 ft)

After the breakfast, you will be visiting the different places in Kathmandu. There are many historic and cultural places that are of great significance in Kathmandu. You will get to see the major attractions of the city along with our professional guide and a private vehicle. The following are the major places that you will visit:

You will be visiting either Kathmandu Durbar Square or Patan Durbar Square, which has been listed in the UNESCO’s World Heritage Site.You can enjoy the age-old cultural heritage of the city. Boudhanath and Swayambhunath a sacred pilgrimage of the Buddhist and Pashupatinath the very famous Hindu temple e are the attraction of today’s sightseeing program. After sightseeing, you will be meeting us at our office for a prior trek meeting. You can go shopping in the evening at Thamel which is famous for useful tourist’s products. We will stay overnight at the hotel.

Day 03: Drive from Kathmandu to Pokhara (8, 20m/2,690ft) 
Total duration: 5-6 hours (Bus Ride)

Today our guide will pick you up from the hotel and will escort you to the bus stop to catch the early morning tourist coach to Pokhara. The journey is going to be a very pleasant one along the Trisuli River up till Muglin. You will have your breakfast and lunch on your way to Pokhara. After almost 7 hours of a pleasant road travel, you will reach Pokhara, known as the valley of Lakes. Pokhara is the famous valley and probably amongst the most popular tourist's destinations of Nepal. Once you reach Pokhara, you can spend rest of your day exploring the city or Phewa Lake. The night will be spent at a tourist standard hotel in Pokhara.  

Day 04: Drive to Nayapul & trek to Tikhedhunga (1,540m/5,052ft) 
Total duration: 2 hours of a bus ride and 4-5 hours walk

Today, after breakfast, we will be traveling towards Nayapul from where our trek begins. It takes 2 hours of bus ride to reach Nayapul. Since our target for today is Tikhedhunga, you will be briefed by our guide regarding the trekking to Tikhedhunga. We will introduce you to the other trekkers during the breakfast. You will get some time to drool around the village and meet the local people while our porters sort out and load the trekking equipment. Our ultimate hike begins from Nayapul towards Birethati following the trails along the Modi River. Upon reaching Birethati formalities to enter the ACAP area needs to be completed. Then we will walk towards Bhrumdi Khola, Sudame, and Hiley passing through beautiful waterfalls on our way until we reach Tikhedhunga. A beautiful view of Mt. Machhapuchre can be seen on the way. This night will be spent at Tikhedhunga. 

Day 05: Tikhedhunga to Ghorepani (3,194m/1,0479ft) 
Total duration: 5-6 hours

Our destination for today is Ghorepani. Shortly after breakfast, our trek will begin. There will be a long uphill climb on the stone steps. After climbing almost 3000 steps, we will reach Ulleri. After a short break, our walk will continue. This time it’s a gentle uphill walk through Rhododendron and Pine forest to reach Ghorepani. Ghorepani is the entry point of Poonhill. We will stay overnight at Ghorepani.  

Day 06: Hike to Poon Hill and trek to Tadapani (2,590m/8,497ft) 
Total duration: 5-6 hours

It is the third day of our trek and our destination for today is set for Tadapani. Since we will be watching the sunrise view today, our trek will begin a little bit early than other days. We will walk up to Poonhill which is situated at 3,193m. We can watch the amazing sunrise view, a very closer view of Dhaulagiri and Annapurna Range along with 20 other beautiful peaks and a distant view of Mustang and Pokhara from this point. After spending some time here we will return to Ghorepani for breakfast. After breakfast, we will walk towards Tadapani on the trail that passes through Deurali Pass, Banthati, and Thulo Odar Kharka. We can enjoy the beautiful rhododendron forest on our way to Tadapani. We will spend our night at Tadapani 

Day 07: Tadapani to Sinuwa (2,340m/7,677ft) 
Total duration: 5-6 hours

Today, after breakfast we will start our trek towards Sinuwa. There will be a steep descend until we reach the suspension bridge. On our way, we will see the settlements with well-terraced fields, waterfalls, and rhododendron forest. Upon crossing the bridge over Kimrong River we will reach Chhomorong, a beautiful Gurung Village. This village is situated on the lap of Annapurna Massif. After Chhomorong we will walk down the stone steps to cross the bridge over Chhomorong River to finally reach Sinuwa. We will stay at Sinuwa tonight. 

Day 08: Sinuwa to Deurali (3,230m/10,597ft) 
Total duration: 5-6 hours

Today after breakfast we will head towards our destination which is set for Deurali. The walk towards Bamboo passing Kuldigar is relatively an easy one. After that, we will have to climb long stone steps to reach Dobhan after crossing a suspension bridge. We will see different types of vegetation and fauna of this region. From Dobhan it’s a long uphill climb towards Hinku Cave and from there we will reach Deurali. We will stay overnight at Deurali.  

Day 09: Deurali to Annapurna Base Camp (4,130m/13,549ft)

Today is the day to meet our targeted destination, Annapurna Base Camp. Today we will start our trek by walking uphill through the trails along the Modi Khola which will first lead to  Bagar. From Bagar a tough uphill walk will take us to Machhapuchre Base Camp (3,700m).We will take rest. The magnificent Mt. Makalu is seen at a close vicinity from this point. From here we will follow the trail that is relatively wider and leads us to Annapurna Sanctuary. After walking for some time we will reach the Southern Annapurna Base Camp. The 360-degree view of the peaks can be viewed from this place. This is the very place to view the Annapurna glacier and other different peaks. We will stay overnight at Base Camp. 

Day 10: Base Camp to Bamboo (2,340m/7,677ft) 
Total duration: 6 hours

Today after breakfast, we will begin our trek towards Bamboo, our destination for today. We will retrace the trail that we followed yesterday until we reach Bagar. From Bagar we will follow the trail that leads us to Deurali, Dobhan and finally to bamboo. We will pass different temples, cave, and many beautiful waterfalls. We will have to cross a bridge and forests to reach Bamboo. You will be amazed by the view of the extraordinary landscape of this region. We will stay overnight at Bamboo. 

Day 11: Bamboo to Jhinu (1,780m/5,839ft) 
Total duration: 5 hours

Our Destination for today is Jhinu dada. We will reach Sinuwa walking up to Kuldigar and then walking down to Chhomorong. It’s a steeped downhill walk from here to reach Jhinu Dada. Upon reaching Jhinu dada and spending some time we can walk down to the hot spring pool which is believed to help relax our muscles and cure skin related problems. We will stay overnight at Jhinu dada. 

Day 12: Jhinu to Pothana (1,890m/6,200ft)   
Total duration: 5-6 hours

Our Destination for today is Pothana. We will first walk towards Landruk where we can enjoy the beautiful view of whitewashed stoned houses and temple. From Landruk we will head towards Bhaisekharka walking through the stone staircases. From Bhaisekharka, we will reach Pitam after a steep uphill climb. This place is the point to view the Annapurna South and Hiu Chuli for one last time. The stone paved trails from here will lead us to Pothana where we will be staying overnight. 

Day 13: Pothana to Pokhara (820m/2,690ft) 
Total duration: 3 hours 
Meals included: Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner 

Our trek for today is a short walk of around three hours. Today is the last day of our trek and we will head towards Pokhara. From Pothana we will walk towards Dhampus from where the trails will drop down towards Phedi. It is an hour of drive from Phedi to Pokhara. We can spend the evening exploring the nightlife of the city with the crew members or can take rest. We will stay overnight at Pokhara. 

Day 14: Drive from Pokhara to Kathmandu, (1,300m/4,264 ft) 
Total duration: 7-8 hrs drive

Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner 

We will return to Kathmandu from Pokhara on a tourist coach. After 7-8 hours of a drive, we will finally reach Kathmandu from where our journey began. Upon reaching Kathmandu, you will be escorted to the hotel. You can freshen up and go shopping in the evening at Thamel which is famous for useful tourist’s products. Since today is your last day in Kathmandu, we host a farewell dinner where you can give your feedback regarding the services that we provided during the entire trip. We will stay overnight at the hotel. 

Day 15: Departure Day 
Meals included: Breakfast 

This is the last day of your trip with us. You can extend your trip for one or two days to visit other interesting places in and out of Kathmandu which is completely optional. If not then one of our staff will escort you to the airport as per your scheduled departure. You can roam around the city and buy souvenirs’ and do shopping to take along with you if your flight is scheduled during late hours.
