Outline Itinerary

Day 01: Arrival day (1,300m/4,264 ft) and Fly to Pokhara (820m/2,690ft)

Day 02: Drive from Pokhara to Nayapul and trek to Ghandruk (1940m/6,364ft) 5-6 hour

Day 03: Trek from Ghandruk to Sinuwa (2,360m/7,742ft) 5-6 hour

Day 04: Trek from Sinuwa to Deurali (3,230m/10,597ft) 6 hours

Day 05: Trek from Deurali to Annapurna Base Camp (4,130m/13,549ft) 5 hours

Trip Includes:

Day to Day Itinerary

Day 01: Arrival day (1,300m/4,264 ft) and Fly to Pokhara (820m/2,690ft)

Our airport representative will welcome you at Tribhuvan International Airport, Kathmandu upon your arrival. After a short briefing by our staff at the airport, you will be escorted to the domestic terminal of the airport to catch the scheduled flight to Pokhara. You can enjoy a scenic flight of 30 minutes before you land at Pokhara Airport. Our airport representative will receive you at the airport. He/she will escort you to the hotel in a private vehicle. Your prior trip meeting will be scheduled on the very day. During the meeting, we will introduce you to the leader/guide. Please do not hesitate to ask questions about your trek or anything that is related to your trip. The evening can be spent exploring the lakeside. Overnight at the hotel in Pokhara.

Day 02: Drive from Pokhara to Nayapul and trek to Ghandruk (1940m/6,364ft) 5-6 hour
Total duration:
  2 hours of bus ride and 5-6 hours walk

Today, after breakfast, we will be traveling towards Nayapul from where our trek begins. It takes 2 hours of bus ride to reach Nayapul. Since the target for today is Ghandruk, there will be a short briefing session by our guide regarding the trekking to Ghandruk. We will introduce you to the other trekkers during breakfast. You will get some time to go see the village and meet the local people while our porters sort out and load the trekking equipment. Our ultimate hike begins from Nayapul towards Birethati following the trail along the Modi River. Upon reaching Birethati formalities to enter the ACAP area needs to be completed. Then the walk towards Ghandruk begins. We will have to ascend crossing Syauli Bazar, Kimche until we finally reach Ghandruk Crossing Chane. Ghandruk is a very popular hill station in this region. A lot of local and international tourist trek to Ghandruk every year. You can spend your evening exploring the village. A beautiful view of Mt. Machhapuchre can be seen on the way. This night will be spent at Ghandruk.

Day 03: Trek from Ghandruk to Sinuwa (2,360m/7,742ft)
Total duration: 5-6 hours walk
Meals included: Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner

Our destination for today is Sinuwa. We will hike upwards initially and then walk along the bank of Modi River. After almost an hour of a walk along the river, we will ascend passing the huge boulder to reach the bridge at Kimrong River. After crossing the river and a steep climb will lead us to Chhomorong, a beautiful Gurung Village. Then we will walk ahead to reach Sinuwa crossing Jhinu Dada and the bridge over Chhomorong. We will walk pass lush of bamboo, Rhododendron, and Oak forest. This night will be spent at a teahouse in Sinuwa.

Day 04: Trek from Sinuwa to Deurali (3,230m/10,597ft)
Total duration: 5-6 hours

Today after breakfast we will head towards our destination which is set as Deurali. The walk towards Bamboo passing Kuldigar is relatively an easy one. After that, we will have to climb a long stoned step to reach Dobhan after crossing a suspension bridge. We will see lush of different vegetation and fauna of this region. From Dobhan it’s a long uphill climb towards Hinku Cave and from there we will reach Deurali. We will stay overnight at Deurali.

Day 05: Trek from Deurali to Annapurna Base Camp (4,130m/13,549ft)

Today is the day to meet our targeted destination, Annapurna Base Camp. Today we will start our trek by walking uphill through the trail along the Modi Khola that first leads to the Bagar. From Bagar a tough uphill walk will take us to Machhapuchre Base Camp (3,700m). We can take rest here and take snaps. The magnificent Mt. Makalu is seen at close vicinity from this point. From here we will follow the trail that is relatively wider and leads to Annapurna Sanctuary. From here we will reach the Southern Annapurna Base Camp. The 360-degree vista of the peaks can be viewed from this place. This is the very place to view the Annapurna glacier and other different peaks. We will stay overnight at Base Camp.

Day 06: Trek from Annapurna Base Camp to Bamboo (2,340m/7,677ft) 6 hours
Total duration: 6 hours

Today after breakfast, we will begin our trek towards Bamboo, our destination for today. We will retrace the trail that we followed yesterday until we reach Bagar. From Bagar the trail leads us to Deurali, Dobhan and finally to Bamboo. We will walk pass different temples, cave, and many beautiful waterfalls. We will have to cross a bridge and forest to reach Bamboo. The view of an extraordinary landscape of this region is mesmerizing. We will stay overnight at Bamboo.

Day 07: Trek from Bamboo to Jhinu Hot Spring (1,780m/5,839ft)
Total duration: 5 hours
Meals included: Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner

Our Destination for today is Jhinu dada. We will reach Sinuwa walking up to Kuldigar and then walking down to Chhomorong. It’s a steeped downhill walk from here to reach Jhinu Dada. Upon reaching Jhinu dada and spending some time there, we can walk down to the hot spring pool which is believed to help relax our muscles and cure skin related problems. We will stay overnight at Jhinu dada.

Day 08: Trek from Jhinu Hot Spring to Nayapul and drive to Pokhara (820m/2,690ft)
Total duration: 6-7 hours walk and 2 hours of bus ride
Meals included: Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner

Today is the last day of our trek and we will head towards Pokhara. It is going to be a long day because we will walk for almost 7 hours followed by 2 hours of bus ride to reach Pokhara. We will first walk towards Landruk where we can enjoy the beautiful view of whitewashed stoned houses and temple. From Landruk we will walk towards Birethati following the downhill trail along the Modi River to finally reach Nayapul. This is the place where our trek ends. It takes 2 hours of bus ride to reach Pokhara. We can spend the evening exploring the nightlife of the city with the crew members or can simply take rest. We will stay overnight at Pokhara.

Day 09: Fly from Pokhara to Kathmandu
Meals included: Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner

You will fly back to Kathmandu after our breakfast at the hotel. Upon reaching Kathmandu, you will be escorted to the hotel. You can freshen up and go shopping in the evening at Thamel which is famous for useful tourist’s products. We shall host a farewell dinner where you can give your feedback regarding the services that we provided during the entire trip. We will stay overnight at the hotel.

Day 10: Depart Kathmandu
Meals included: Breakfast

This is the last day of the trip with us. You can extend your trip for one or two days to visit other interesting places in and out of Kathmandu which is completely optional. If not then our staff will escort you to the airport as per your scheduled departure. You can roam around the city and buy souvenirs’ and do shopping to take along with you if your flight is scheduled during late hours.
