Trip Introduction

Mera peak towers above 6000m and is considered to be amongst the tallest peaks of the Everest Region. Mera Peak (6461m) is officially the highest trekking peak in Nepal. Upon reaching the top of this peak, you will be able to see the magnificent view of 5 mountains over 8000 meters including Mt. Everest (8848), Mt. Cho Oyu 8201m, Mt. Kanchenjunga 8586m, Mt. Lhotse 8516m and Mt. Makalu 8485m. Mera Peak Climbing in Nepal is considered more adventurous and less challenging than other trekking peaks in that region. This climbing offers a good experience of moderate peak climbing.

A scenic flight to Luka will take you to the Gateway to Mera Peak. We suggest you to plan your trip during spring or monsoon for the clear visibility and accessibility as this season is best for climbing Mera Peak. Our well-researched itineraries will allow you to acclimatize in the higher altitude before moving to the higher altitudes. Trails in most of the placer are well maintained and stone paved. You will witness the beautiful flora and fauna of this region during your trip. You also will get to savor the unique culture and custom of the Sherpas living in this region. This trekking could be very challenging yet full of thrills and excitements. You will be provided with basic mountaineering training before actually climbing the peak.

Classic Outdoors offers you 18 days standard package for Mera Peak Climbing Trek that includes full accommodation with hot bath and meal throughout the trek along with bed and breakfast in Kathmandu. You can get special discounts on groups. We ensure you a guaranteed departure on your chosen date. However, at times due to adverse weather conditions, the flight might be delayed or canceled for a day affecting the schedule. We always recommend you to add one night (three nights to the most) in Kathmandu after your trek if possible). We can arrange helicopters as per needed in case of flight cancellation as per your need and request.
