Trip Introduction

Those who want to trek to Everest base camp using the trails used by Sir Edmund Hillary and Tenzing Norgay Sherpa must try Everest base camp via Jiri. This is the oldest route and comparatively a longer one that is widely preferred by the trekkers. Choosing this trip is the best decision as it includes a combination of natural and cultural wonders. It is worth taking a chance. Jiri is undoubtedly one of the most beautiful areas of Nepal which are sometimes compared to Switzerland. The rustic setting, the beautiful vista of different mountains, age-old Sherpa culture are some of the perks of this route. You will see a vast diversity of flora and fauna on your way to Everest. Your journey begins from a concretely settled Kathmandu to the suburbs and finally to the irresistible Jiri that welcomes you with beautiful mountains, and a pretty landscape covered by rhododendrons and pine forest.

This trek involves a lot of ascends and descends with many beautiful hamlets and the people residing there. The area is serene and magnificent. On your way to Phakding from Jiri, you will experience amazing things that you have never seen or done before.

Spring Season (March to May) and autumn season (October to December) are considered to be the best season for Everest Base Camp Trek. We advise you to avoid monsoon season as the hilly roads and trails are extremely slippery and prone to landslides. You will reach at an altitude of 5,364 m (17,598 ft.). Our well-researched itineraries will help you get the ultimate adventure experience that you deserve to see and savor during this trek.

We proudly offer you a 23 days standard package for Everest Base Camp via Jiri Trek if you are willing to enjoy your holiday without rushing to base camp. We assure a cozy accommodation, hot baths and hygienic meal throughout your trip with bed and breakfast in Kathmandu. Our well-experienced guides and staffs will accompany you throughout the trip. Our staffs always carry cell phones along with them so as to communicate instantly in case of emergencies. You can get special discounts on groups. We ensure you a guaranteed departure on your chosen date. We always recommend you to add one night (three nights to the most) in Kathmandu after your trek if possible). We can arrange helicopters as per needed in case of flight cancellation as per your need and request.

The suggested itinerary is for the traditional route to the Everest Region, you can also go through the itinerary such as Everest Base Camp Trek and Everest Panorama Trek if you want to fly to Lukla. If you require any other trek other than the suggested one, then you can contact us for the tailor-made itinerary of your choice.
