Trip Introduction

An enjoyable and scenic five hours drive by car or private coach on the Prithvi highway connecting Chitwan with Kathmandu follows the Trishuli River takes us through the Tharu Villages of Chitwan. The ethnic tribe of the Tharu’s is the local inhabitants Chitwan and is agriculturists by profession. The drive finally brings to the Unique Wild Resort.

CLOTHING:
We advise casual clothes of jungle colors such as beige, brown, khaki and green that are least disturbing to the environment and most appropriate for wildlife viewing. Natural fiber clothing is the best for the weather condition in Chitwan, long trousers are suggested for the jungle activities. Fleece jackets, sweaters and warm jackets are advised to carry during winter season.

What to Bring:

  • Binoculars to your enjoyment for bird and wildlife viewing.
  • Personal medical requirements and insect repellent. 

Day to Day Itinerary

DAY 1: Drive Kathmandu / Unique Wild Resort

Fly Kathmandu / Bharatpur (20 min flight)
The guests will be met by our naturalist at Bharatpur Airport and transferred by jeep or coach to Resort. Up on arrival at resort the guests will be briefed regarding the park and the programs available. This package allows you to explore the cultural and natural aspects of Chitwan National Park in a short period of time. The 1 night and 2 days package constitutes of the Elephant Back safari, Tharu Cultural Program, Bird watching Lunch will be followed by a choice of activities arranged for you.
