We also arrange TREKS FOR SINGLE WOMAN. If none of our fixed group departure dates work for you and you do not have anyone to accompany you, you can still be able to make your preferred trip with us. The role of the trek leader is to ensure that the trip runs smoothly. He will share their local knowledge, co-ordinate the day to day running of the tour. • Climate and weather condition during trek

Weather in the mountains is extremely unpredictable. The nights are generally cooler and the days are warm. Winter (January and February) will be bit colder but the days can be quite beautiful and warm if the sun is out. There will be bit of snow during the month of January, February and December. It is also important to make sure that you can stay warm and dry in just about any conditions. Expect the unexpected!

Everest Base Camp trek is likely to have a wide range of temperatures depending on the altitude and the time of day. In the mountains up to 3,500m the nights will be cool, normally around 5 degree C, and during the day temperatures sometimes rise to 25 degree C. At higher altitudes temperatures range from about 20 degree C to -15 degree C.

  • Permits and Fees

In Nepal, you most require permits and fees to enter a certain areas such as World heritage sites, National Park, restricted areas along climbing as well. All the trip prices are including the cost of relevant permits and entrance fees. In case of any such conditions we will inform you if required any additional permit fees before you make a booking with us.

  • Travel Insurance

While travelling to Nepal, you are requested to have a travel insurance that should cover any comprehensive expenses possible to acquire due to medical issues or accidents. Especially, your travel insurance must protect air ambulance, treatment charges, rescue and evacuation, product cancellation and refundable charges, flight delay and cancellations. We suggest you to bring you travel insurance certificate or send us scan copy and required to issue from your home land and we do not arrange or sell insurance.

Travelling in the Himalayas is full of adventurous; hence it is wise to choose a proper insurance policy. While choosing your insurance policy, make sure that it will protect all such unforeseen expenses. Meantime, it is not compulsory that our all the assigned trip are facilities with Heli-rescue. You will not require heli rescue insurance for Tibet Tour as it is not possible to provide such facility.

  • Altitude Mountain sickness

AMS is the abbreviation for Acute Mountain sickness also termed as the High Altitude Sickness. AMS is one of the challenges that the trekkers/ climbers might face during their climb in the mountains. As you reach higher in the altitude the oxygen level gradually decreases. If a person tries to climb too quickly then there is a higher chance of getting AMS. The major symptoms of AMS is headache, loss of appetite, nausea, vomiting, dizziness, tiredness, difficulty in sleeping. However, AMS can be avoided by using some precautionary measures such as drinking plenty of water, eating enough food and walking in the steady pace. Our experienced guides who have been working in the Himalayas will help and instruct you for further measures.

Classic Outdoor will provide a well-qualified and experienced guide who has a good knowledge about AMS as they can recognize the early symptoms and advise medications for instant relief. We have designed our trips in such a way that the clients get full acclimatization and proper rest. You will also be provided with a Gamow bag upon request at an additional charge which is considered a major gear to reduce the effect of AMS. In the worst case scenario, we shall arrange a rescue and evacuation using a helicopter whose cost should be covered by your travel insurance.

  • Acclimatization

We are experts at operating at high-altitude. Every trip we run has a realistic acclimatization programme. Our treks are designed to allow gradual height gain, spread over a number of days. There is no way of predicting who will suffer from altitude but, for the vast majority of people, a slow ascent to height will produce minimal effects. We can provide 'Gamow Bag' as a precautionary measure as per your request on hiring basis. Acclimatizing takes time and there are no safe shortcuts. All trips to altitudes in excess of 3,000 meters carry medicines essential to the treatment of altitude illness, and our leaders are trained to administer them and to know the symptoms.

  • Physical Fitness

We strongly recommend our clients for consulting the doctor before planning your holidays. You should obtain professional advice from a travel clinic or your local GP about which vaccinations to have before you arrive in Nepal. Your doctor will advise current inoculation requirements. If a doctor has recommended against travel or indicated travel may be inconvenient then inform us of the details. On all trekking and exploratory trips technical experience is not required, hiking/camping experience is an advantage, but by far the most important thing is a positive attitude and a generous amount of determination. We strictly maintain hygiene foods on the trek. We carry extensive medical kits and, if the need should ever arise, we are able to evacuate seriously ill group members by helicopter. We run regular first aid courses for our all trekking guides and Sherpa helpers.

Remarkable Trek with Classic Outdoors

Rating:

My father and I came to Nepal for our trek when we came across Classic Outdoors via online search. Every single person who we interacted with while working with this agency was fantastic, from everyone in the office, to our guide, to everyone else we met on the way through their organization. The customer service was all excellent, the trek was absolutely incredible, and all the prices were more than reasonable. Any confusion we had along the way were dealt immediately and thoroughly by our guide, Sher who proved to be extremely caring, intelligent, and a great personality to have with us on the trek.

It was an all-round fantastic experience to Manaslu Region, so glad we ended up getting to work through them, highly recommended for anyone wanting complete ease with regards to their travel agent.

Fantastic trekking experience with Classic Outdoors

Rating:

This was my second visit to Nepal with Classic Outdoors. My last visit was 8 years back when I did Everest base camp trek. This time I went for the Manaslu trek slightly off beaten trek than the previous. I was shattered when I visited the heritage sites as many monuments have been severely damaged by the earthquake that took in 2015. Yet I am pleased with the hospitality of the people and their spirit to rise again. I went to manaslu circuit trek. the major highlight of the trek was the gradual change in the landscape as you walk higher. We saw the traditional Nepalese farming and many herders along the route. The accommodation at the lodges were basic but not bad for anyone to expect the luxury in the remote trekking destination is unwise. The trail was definitely challenging as you walk ups and down. Sometimes it was exhausting but the time I reached the rest place, I forgot about everything and felt relaxed to be in such an amazing places. My guide Giri helped a lot, he was very supportive and motivating. I can definitely recommend Giri as a guide to others and definitely classic outdoors without whom I could not have enjoyed the trip.

Manaslu Circuit Trek

Rating:

We have recently completed an 18 day trek of the Manaslu Circuit. What an amazing experience. This part of Nepal needs to be seen by all who love trekking.
Our guide & porter looked after all our needs, altering & arranging transport, cooking meals, adapting our plans to changes in circumstances our safety & well being was their prime concern.Their excellent knowledge of this area added to our experience. The Manaslu area is recovering from the devastating earthquake. New trekkers accommodation is of high priority. While basic in nature the existing teahouses are comfortable & adequate. Classic Outdoors arranged all our accommodation pre & post trek, as well as transport to the hotels. We highly recommend this organisation for Nepalese adventures
Thankyou Dipendra, Sudhan and Kritee you guys were amazing.

Manaslu Circuit with Classic Outdoors

Rating:

I had a great experience and made memories for a lifetime trekking around Manaslu back in April 2017 with the support of the wonderful team at Classic Outdoors my dream came true - thanks to Kritee and to my guide Om and porter Bir Bahadur for the excellent service and companionship throughout the trek!. I was in dilemma regarding the choice of the trek. Later I decided and chose 18 days Manaslu Circuit Trek. I was known of the fact that Manaslu is in the remote parts of the country compared to the famous Everest and Annapurna Treks. I was much interested to see the authentic experience of trekking in the Himalayas of Nepal like the way people used to back many years.

A particular highlight of the Manaslu area is experiencing the full range of spectacular Himalayan scenery from subtropical jungles and rice terraces to cooler pine and rhododendron forests, high pastures, glaciers and wonderful close-up mountain views of mighty Manaslu, Himalchuli and many other peaks. With the gradual change of landscapes comes a change of people who live in the mountain valleys. The villages - from Nepali farming communities to Tibetan yak herders - become increasingly more traditional the further up you go. Experiencing such mesmerizing natural and cultural diversity while trekking around some of the worlds highest peaks is a truly rewarding and humbling experience!

Trekking solo as an average person, the trek was doable and enjoyable. Part of the trail is quite rocky, some sections are steep but most of the days are good walking, gradually up or down (on most days it's actually both up and down!) and without any particular difficulties. Compared to other trekkers we sometimes decided to walk at a slower pace - the slower you go the easier it is. The day to cross the 5106m high Larke pass was tough and long. It's the biggest challenge on the trek but it's possible if you're healthy, well supported by your guide and put your mind to it!

In totality, I had a great experience and i would recommend the company Classic Outdoors as well as my guide Om and porter Bir tamang to every one without any doubt.

Hope to see you all again. With lots of love.
